1. Scope

These Terms govern the purchase and use of our digital Japanese-language learning materials (videos, texts, downloads) and related services.

2. Eligibility & Accounts

You must be 18+ (or have guardian consent). You’re responsible for your account security and all activities under it.

3. Product, Access & Delivery

• Digital content: Streaming videos (e.g., delivered via Vimeo) and text materials as described on the product page.
• Access window: Lifetime from the purchase date under a personal, non-transferable license.
• Delivery: Access is granted after successful PayPal payment and order confirmation email.
• Requirements: Stable internet and a compatible device/browser. Third-party platform terms may also apply.

4. License & Use

We grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license for personal, individual study.
Prohibited: account sharing, reselling/redistributing, public screening, copying or screen-recording videos, using materials to create competing products.

5. Group Lessons & Institutional Use

• Group lessons: Require a separate group license (seats). One seat = one participant. No seat sharing.
• Schools/companies: Require a separate written agreement. Please contact us for details.

6. Pricing, Payment, Taxes

• Payment method: PayPal only.
• Prices are shown on the product page. Taxes, fees, or exchange-rate adjustments may apply via PayPal.

7. Refunds & Cancellations (Digital Content)

• General rule: Due to the nature of digital content, all sales are final once access begins, except where a defect prevents reasonable use and we cannot remedy it.
• EU/UK consumers: A 14-day withdrawal right generally exists unless you consent to immediate access and acknowledge losing that right. If applicable, we will obtain this consent at checkout.
• Japan: Online purchases are not subject to the “cooling-off” system under the Act on Specified Commercial Transactions.
• Defects: If access is impossible due to our system fault, contact us within 7 days. We will attempt to fix, replace, or—if not possible—refund.

8. Updates & Changes

We may update course components to improve quality without unreasonably reducing access during your access window.

9. Support

Support is available via email at 10:00–17:00 JST on business days.

10. Disclaimers

We do not guarantee specific learning outcomes. The course is provided “as is” to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to your purchase will not exceed the amount you paid for the product in the last six (6) months.

12. Prohibited Conduct

Do not engage in unauthorized access, IP infringement, distribution of malicious code, or disruption of platforms used to deliver the course.

13. Intellectual Property

All content is owned by us or our licensors and protected by IP laws. No ownership transfers to you.

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access (without refund) if you materially breach these Terms (e.g., sharing content or accounts).

15. Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Exclusive jurisdiction: Osaka District Court (unless mandatory consumer jurisdiction rules apply).

16. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be posted with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
