Cancellation & Reschedule Policy (Students)<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Scope & Definitions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  • Lesson<\/strong> = one 50-minute session delivered via Google Meet.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Cancellation<\/strong> = student chooses to forfeit the booked time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Reschedule<\/strong> = student moves the same lesson to a new date\/time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • No-show<\/strong> = student has not joined the Meet room within 15 minutes of the scheduled start.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • All times are calculated in Japan Standard Time (JST, UTC+9)<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    2. Free-Cancellation Window<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    You may cancel or reschedule up to 24 hours before<\/strong> the lesson start time free of charge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    • Cancellations: 100 % refund (single purchase) or lesson credit returned to your package balance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Reschedules: move the lesson once at no cost.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      3. Late Cancellation & No-Show<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      If you cancel, reschedule, or fail to attend within 24 hours<\/strong> of the start time:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      • The lesson is marked as completed<\/strong> and one credit is deducted<\/strong> from your package \/ subscription.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
      • No refunds or additional reschedule options are provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

        4. How to Cancel or Reschedule<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        Use the \u201cMy Lessons\u201d button in your student dashboard.
        Requests made by e-mail, chat, or phone are not<\/strong> accepted as official notice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        5. Teacher-Initiated Changes<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        If a teacher must cancel within 24 hours, you will receive:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        • A full credit return plus<\/strong> one complimentary lesson credit, or<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n
        • A full monetary refund (for single-lesson purchases), at your choice.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

          6. Technical Issues<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
            \n
          • Student-side internet\/device failure<\/strong> \u2192 treated as late cancellation \/ no-show.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
          • Teacher-side or Google Meet outage<\/strong> \u2192 free reschedule or full credit return.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

            7. Exceptional Circumstances<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

            Serious illness, natural disasters, or other force-majeure events may be exempted at the discretion of the OJL Support Team. Proof (e.g. medical certificate) may be required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            8. Repeated Violations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

            Two consecutive no-shows or three late cancellations within 60 days may lead to temporary suspension of booking privileges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

            9. Policy Updates<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

            The policy may be updated; changes take effect seven (7) days after e-mail notification and website posting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
