Lesson Timeline at a Glance
Here is a step-by-step overview of how to get started with your online Japanese lesson. You can usually complete Steps 1–4 in under 10 minutes, and in some cases, start your first lesson on the same day (depending on teacher availability).

STEP 1: Sign Up
Go to the Sign Up page and create a free account by entering your email and a password.
You’ll receive a confirmation email—just click the link to activate your dashboard.

STEP 2: Enter Your Student Info
On the Student Info Form, fill out your current level, learning goals, and interests.
The more detailed your info, the easier it will be for your teacher to tailor the lesson to you.

STEP 3: Choose Your Teacher & Plan
Browse the teacher list, watch their intro videos, and read reviews to find the right fit.
We recommend starting with a Trial Lesson to get to know your teacher.
STEP 4: Book Your Lesson
Select your preferred date and time using the teacher’s real-time calendar.
Time zones are automatically adjusted.
You can reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours in advance.

STEP 5: Get Ready
Lessons are conducted via Google Meet. No installation is needed—just click the link in your dashboard.
Recommended preparations:
- Use a PC or a stable internet connection.
- Test your mic and camera on the Meet preview screen.
- Ask any questions in advance via the teacher chat.
Note: PDF materials are not provided unless your teacher instructs you to prepare something.
STEP 6: Lesson Day
At your scheduled time, click the “Join Lesson” button from your dashboard to enter the classroom.
If you don’t join within 15 minutes, the lesson is considered complete.

Please leave a review for your teacher.
